See the drawing here= [link]

It took me about two and a half weeks to complete this drawing, but I didn't draw all the time :D . I often tend to lose my concentration quite fast.
Sketching is fast, detailing takes many hours.

Wish you all the luck in the contest :fingerscrossed:...That is one great tutorial, I find very useful myself, allthough I am more into digital drawing and painting these days (but still sketch out settings and posing and such on paper!!)...Thank you fro sharing my friend

Thanks for the fav!
I wish I were better at drawing digitally and at photomanipulation. I have Adobe Photoshop CS3, but I can do only the basic things with it... Maybe you can do a tutorial on that subject!?

Good luck in the contest :) What I personally miss, is an even earlier step when you just start sketching - some tips about how to get proportions right. Point 6 is handy - I always forget what those letters mean :D Also the "veins and shadows in eye" part is important to realize when drawing eyes.
Do you use tortillons?

I use regular tissues for blending :D .
I agree with the sketching thing. I started thinking just a bit too late, that I'll make a tutorial out of it. And then I thought, that maybe it'll suffice if even a part of it is still in the sketching level.
I don't really know what to say about the sketching and how I get the proportions right (if I even do get them right). I just sketch :omg: . I know that some people use grids to get them right, but I remember using that technique only once and it was with an oilpainting.
